Jeff's Birthday Weekend at Wet Set!

What a weekend it was! Jeff is now officially 36, I think he is still in denial that he is now in his “late thirtys” (I’ve been teasing him that he has definitely passed his mid-thirties now). He said the candles on top of his cake in the shape of a “36” just didn’t look right to him! Ha! It’s my wonderful husband who has the body of a 36 year old, but the mind of someone much younger! This past year really did fly by. It was this birthday weekend last year that Jeff tore his ACL out at the lake, which was followed by knee surgery the day before Thanksgiving, which was followed by months of physical therapy and re-hab! Thankfully nothing crazy like that happened this year – we are all in one piece and no visits to the doctor are even planned! Jeff spent his birthday weekend on his wakeskate and surfboard, and there has been no crazy wakeboarding jumping all summer long – quite a display of restraint – I know how hard it was for him to be “mellow” during all of our trips this summer. He enjoys flying off of the water and into the air at what I call “scary heights”! So, regardless even without the craziness it was still a wonderful weekend at the lake and a great end to my vacation (if there is such a thing).
The beautiful Wet Set : Paradise in the middle of nowhere!
No jumping for Jeff, but still having fun!
Natalie giving Jeff a run for his money (I think my spray is bigger)!
At 36 you have to start taking some rest time!
My cutest kids! They love the lake!
The crew (minus Geoff)
The whole crew (including a few of the dogs!)
